About the Website:
Hi! My name is Raul. This website is a collection of my work.
When I read Whisps of Wildfire by F.W. Boreham I realized that Boreham wrote over 50 books in his lifetime simply by compiling his essays. He didn’t really have a cohesive story, he just had observations that he wrote down. Everything he wrote is hopeful and it points to Jesus. When I finished that book I remember feeling hope and encouragement and also a sense of adventure and it inspired me to start writing.
Here are some of my credentials:
I grew up as a missionary kid in Mexico. I moved to the USA in 2004, I lived in Liechtenstein from September 2020-September 2021. I majored in Art and German from the University of Arkansas. I can fluently speak English, Spanish, and German. I have written one play and I have written three children’s books currently for sale on Amazon. But there is a whole lot more coming. I’m in the middle of writing a movie script about vikings, I’m also working on more children’s stories and plays. This webpage is a way to share all of my observations and creations with you.
About the Blog:
Countless blogs aim to tell you how you should travel. “Here’s the perfect itinerary.” “Here’s the perfect backpack.” “Here is the best hotel.” “Here’s the must have information for your trip.” I have no intention of ever doing that. What I’m going to do is tell you stories that hopefully inspire you to go and collect your own set of stories.
I believe the best thing I have to offer is perspective. I don’t have a masters degree or a PhD or 20 years of experience doing one single thing, but I tend to have a really good outlook on life. That’s why this site is called GoodGoodDay Raul. Also, I have done a bunch of really great random things and I have a lot of great stories out of it. I hope to offer you a bit of encouragement. I wish to point you towards Jesus. I hope for you to be able to see the only real source of hope in this world with clarity, and for you to be able to face the battles of life with a braver heart.
